Cryolite has also been used as a filler, but PAF has an advantage over cryolite: PAF has better thermal conductivity than cryolite, as explained earlier in the relevant patents of the 1960s. In addition, the PAF has a low melting point and is superior to cryolite in the fracture of reinforced glass fibers.
What are the other advantages of using PAF?
PAF is low cost and is not classified as dangerous. There are fewer restrictions on transportation, storage and material processing.
