Resin cutting wheels, also known as resinoid grinding wheels, are primarily resin abrasives made with chemical synthetic fiber fabric as the reinforcing material. They possess relatively high tensile, impact, and flexural strengths and can be used at high linear speeds. Resinoid grinding wheels are often used in electric and pneumatic grinders. They can be used for repairing various metal surfaces, cleaning welds and solder joints, removing rust, grinding burrs and flash from castings, repairing surface defects, and grooving and cutting workpieces. Resinoid grinding wheels are efficient and safe, and are suitable for use in various industries, including chemical, shipbuilding, machinery, automotive, and construction.
Safe use of cutting discs:
1. Use an angle grinder or cutter with a safety cover.
2. Wear protective goggles, a mask, earplugs, gloves, and dust-proof clothing.
3. Use the super thin cutting disc below its maximum operating speed and maximum rotational speed.
4. Never use the side of the resin cutting wheel.
5. Use the correct flange. Without reinforcement: 1/3 or more; With reinforcement: 1/4 or more.
6. Before use, ensure that the resin cutting wheel has no chipped edges, cracks, or fissures.
7. Store the resin cutting wheel in a horizontal position out of direct sunlight and moisture.
8. Before using an super thin cutting wheel, allow it to idle for one minute before use. When replacing a new type of resin cutting wheel, allow it to idle for three minutes before use.
9. Securely secure the object being cut.
10. If the inner diameter of the resin cutting disc is too small to fit the equipment, do not change the grinding wheel aperture.
Only by taking the above safety protection measures can we ensure the smooth progress of high-efficiency production!
