Description
Low carbon bainite steel shot is made of molten steel smelted by electric arc furnace and controls its composition and harmful elements such as sulfur, phosphorus from the source .That makes product performance with high strength, high toughness, long life, no broken, low dust, low pollution, low wear to equipment, long service life of accessories, reduce load of dust removal system, extend the life of the dust removal system and son on. And verified by numerous customers that one ton of low shell steel shot can replace two tons of normal steel shot.
Low carbon bainite steel shot adopt centrifugal disc to make pellet. The pelletizing pool with a diameter of 25 meters and a gap of 2 meters from centrifugal disc to the surface to let low shell steel shot to full contraction, high density, low shrinkage, little crack in the process of pelletizing.
The formed steel shot is reheated to purify and homogenize, then quenched. The hardened pellet body is dried in the furnace to reheated and tempered in order to achieve the appropriate hardness. The tempered low shell steel shot is sorted into 11 grades according to SAE standard through a mechanical screen for use in the shot blasting machine. Products of different size and hardness are used for different processes, such as surface strengthening.
