Description

The rubber grinding wheel is one kind of organic bond wheel. It is made of natural or synthetic rubber as the main raw material, mixing with abrasive grains for example corundum or carborundum, it's bonding strength is higher than that of the resin bond. It can be used to bond extra thin grinding wheel or cutting wheel with high elasticity. The concession property is good, especially at a high temperature, the pores in the rubber bonding agent polishing sheet are small, the voids are small, the structure is tight, good shape maintenance . However, the rubber bond is weak in heat resistance, oil resistance and moisture resistance, it had better be used in 2 years.

Rubber grinding wheels are very popular as control wheel (regulating grinding wheel match with vitrified grinding wheels) used for cylindrical grinding of working pieces.

Installation and Use:

1. The grinding wheel must be inspected before installation. Depending on whether it has cracks or damage. Before use, the test should be carried out according to the GB/T2493 or EN standard. Otherwise, it is strictly prohibited to use .

2. Before installation, the spindle speed on the machine tool must be checked, and the working speed indicated on the grinding wheel must not be exceeded.

3. Only the special nut wrench can be used for the tightening grinding wheel, and it must be tightened gradually in the order of symmetrical on the opposite sides of the main shaft. The nut should be loose. It is forbidden to use the supplementary fixture or the tapping tool. Turn off the coolant to avoid the imbalance of the grinding wheel.

4. The diameter of the grinding wheel and the grinding wheel spindle and the chuck should meet the requirements of GB4674.

5. The newly installed grinding wheel must have in the case of a protective cover, idle at the working speed for the following times: a grinding wheel with an outer diameter of <400 mm is not less than 2 minutes, and a grinding wheel with an outer diameter of ≥400 mm is not less than 5 minutes. When idling, the operator should not stand in front of the grinding wheel.
