Green silicon carbide grinding wheel is made of green silicon carbide. The manufacturing method of green silicon carbide grinding wheel is the same as that of black silicon carbide grinding wheel, but it has relatively higher requirement for the purity of raw materials. The SiC content of green silicon carbide is higher than that of black silicon carbide. In addition, the physical properties of green silicon carbide are similar to that of black silicon carbide, but it is a litter bit more brittle than black silicon carbide.

Raw material selection and proportioning

The first step in making green silicon carbide grinding wheels is to select appropriate raw materials, screen and proportion them. Storage of Green Silicon Carbide Grinding Wheel

Grinding wheels should be stored in a stable and dry place, and the room temperature should not be lower than 5°C. Grinding wheels should be placed upright on a wooden shelf, and should not be stacked too high, preferably 1.5 meters, so that they are not crushed or collapsed, and are easy to move, so that they will not fall out of your hands and injure people or damage the grinding wheel.

Resin, rubber, and magnesia bonded grinding wheels that have been stored for more than one year must be re-tested for strength and can only be used after being confirmed as qualified. When thin-sheet grinding wheels are stacked naked, a certain load should be placed on the top of the stack to prevent the bridge from deforming.

Resin, rubber and magnesia bonded grinding wheels should be stored in a dry and ventilated place and should not come into contact with acidic and alkaline substances, otherwise the strength and grinding processing ability of the grinding wheel will be affected.

Grinding wheels are afraid of bumps, collisions, falls and strong vibrations. Rolling is strictly prohibited during transportation. They should be placed with care to prevent breakage, cracks, dark lines, and edge falling due to vibration and impact to ensure safe use.
