At this time, slipping will occur between the grinding wheel and the work pieces, which may cause vibration and noise, reducing the grinding efficiency and worsening the surface roughness. At the same time, due to the increase in grinding force and grinding heat, it will cause work deformation and affect the grinding accuracy. In severe cases, it will cause burns and fine cracks on the grinding surface.

In addition, due to the uneven hardness of the grinding wheel and the different working conditions of the abrasive particles, the working surface of the grinding wheel is unevenly worn, and the abrasive particles in various parts fall off to varying degrees.

The dressing stick can be used for dressing and sharpening, grinding wheel dressing stick or stone is a special machine tool attachment for manual flat grinding, universal tool grinding, various surface grinders, curve grinders, dressing various straight-wheel and circular-arc cutting wheels.

Dressing methods include grinding wheel dressing, diamond turning, grinding and rolling.

1. Ordinary grinding wheel grinding is the use of ordinary abrasive wheels as the dressing wheel, and the CBN grinding wheel is cut into a cylindrical shape.

2. Whetstone dressing is a widely used dressing method. It mainly removes CBN wheels by the crushing effect of crushed abrasive particles in the contact zone.However, oilstone trimming cannot obtain a large protruding height of abrasive particles, so it cannot be used for CBN sand for grinding with a large amount of cutting.
