In the process of production and processing of cutting discs, we often find that the cutting discs are broken, and we put forward some opinions on the problem of cracking.
First, it breaks when it is installed and idling: it needs to be idling for one minute when it is loaded into the cutting table for use. There are two main factors for the breakage during this process. In addition, the aperture of the cutting disc and the axis of the cutting table are not equipped, and there is a large stress during assembly.
Second, the cutting disc breaks during use: We often see that the cutting disc is normal at the beginning of use, and the grinding wheel disc breaks when the cutting is usually in 1/3 state.

Through analysis, there may be the following reasons:
The flatness of the cutting disc is poor, the structure of the cutting disc is uneven, the hardness of the cutting disc is high, and the resin of the cutting disc lacks toughness. When the flatness of the cutting disc is poor, the cutting surface is curved. As the cutting depth increases, the lateral stress on the cutting disc increases. When it goes back and forth many times, it will cause cracks on the grinding wheel disc, resulting in a "soft disc", which will break if it continues to be used. When the tissue of the cutting sheet is uneven, along with factors such as torque force, thermal stress, and vibration during the cutting process, the stress will accumulate in the weak tissue, resulting in rupture.
When the hardness of the cutting disc is too high, the radial torque force on the cutting disc will increase. Since the thickness of the cutting disc is usually less than 4mm, it will cause the cutting disc to break.
When the resin lacks toughness, since the grinding wheel is always under negative pressure during the cutting process, lateral stress will inevitably be generated, and when the cutting blade cannot resist the lateral force, it will cause the grinding wheel to break.
To sum up, in order to avoid the rupture of the cutting piece, the quality requirements of the cutting piece are as follows:
1. To have sufficient strength, the normal cutting disc rotation strength must reach 1.5 times the speed of use.
2. To have a good flatness, the flatness of the cutting piece should be controlled within 0.3mm.
Choose a suitable cutting disc. Since the use of the cutting disc is more complicated, you must choose the hardness of the cutting disc according to your own needs. If it is too hard, it will break, and if it is too soft, it will increase the cost.
