Description

Polyaluminum chloride PAC is a kind of inorganic polymer flocculant with solid product appearance, among which drinking water grade is golden yellow and industrial grade is reddish brown. Its molecular formula is [Al₂(OH) ncl₆-n] m,n≤5m≤10. Due to the number of hydroxyl groups in the molecule, when the polyaluminum chloride is added to the turbidity source water, the hydrolysis will continue under the PH condition of the source water. During the hydrolysis process, physical processes such as condensation, adsorption and precipitation will occur, so as to achieve the purpose of purification.

1, The danger of polyaluminium chloride

Invasion route: ingestion.

Health hazards: this product has a stimulating effect on skin and mucous membrane. Inhaling high concerntrations can cause bronchitis and bronchial asthma in individuals. Moreover, oral erosion, gastritis, gastric bleeding and mucosal necrosis can be caused if you take too much by mistake.

Chronic effects: long-term exposure can cause headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, cough, nasal congestion and other symptoms.

2, First aid measures

Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing and rinse thoroughly with soap and water.

Eye contact: lift eyelids, rinse with running water or normal saline, and seek medical advice.

Ingestion: rinse with water, give milk or egg white to drink, and seek medical advice.

3, Storage precautions

Store in cool, dry, well ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. The relative humidity is kept below 75%. The package must be sealed against moisture.
