Description
Fused zirconia alumina is a kind of artificial corundum, which uses material with rich aluminum and zirconium, as well as additive as raw material, then is fused in an electric furnance at high temperature, cooled, crystallized, crushed and screened. The main crystal phase of fused zirconia alumina is α-Al2O3, the secondary crystal phase is oblique zircon, and there is a small amount of glass phase. The crystal morphology and structure of zirconium corundum are important factors affecting the quality of it.
According to the content of ZrO2, fused zirconia alumina can be generally divided into low zirconia fused alumina (ZrO2: 10%~15%), medium zirconia fused alumina (ZrO2: 25%) and high zirconia fused alumina (ZrO2: 40%).
