Description

Pink fused alumina is made from metallurgical grade chromium green and industrial alumina by chemical reaction at the high temperature above 2000℃. The product has good stability in high temperature, scouring resistance, erosion resistance and wear resistance. The color of pink aluminum oxide is pink, and can be used for manufacturing abrasives. Abrasive tools made of it have good durability and can achieve high finish when grinding.

The smelting process of pink fused alumina is the same as that of white fused alumina, except that a certain amount of chromium oxide is added in the smelting process, which shows a pale purple and rose color. Due to the introduction of Cr₃+ in the pink aluminum oxide which improves the toughness of abrasives, its toughness is higher than white fused alumina, but its hardness is close to white fused alumina. When pink fused alumina is used for processing materials with higher toughness, the processing efficiency of it is higher than that of white fused alumina, and better finish on the surface of workpiece.

Product Application:

1, Pink fused alumina is an ideal sandblasting, and applicable to hardware, glass, zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, high carbon steel, high-speed steel and other sandblasting. Especially when spraying thin wall workpiece, its effect is obvious such as the workpiece does not change color and high processing finish.

2, It can improve the smoothness of silicon wafer, optical lens, precision instrument, polished glass shell, glassware, ceramic stone, leather, plastic and metal parts.

3, The grinding tool made of it has sharp grinding, low heating rate, high grinding ratio, and less adhesion when used. The sintered abrasive tool has the characteristics of dark blue color, no reticular crack and no rust after firing. And it is suitable for precision grinding of measuring tools, machine tool spindles, instrument parts, thread workpieces, etc.
