Do you know how to improve the performance of the flap disc? Today I will introduce three tips for you.
1. The right choice. Only by selecting the appropriate flap disc product according to the grinding object can the best grinding effect be ensured and the value of the flap disc can be maximized. A high-quality flap disc has strong cutting force, can adapt to the cutting process of materials with different strengths, has the characteristics of heat resistance and wear resistance, and can better complete large-scale equipment grinding and polishing.

2. Enough stress. During the grinding process, do not apply excessive pressure to the flap discs. Excessive use will cause the flap discs to be overloaded. Excessive heat will cause the flap discs to wear faster and reduce the effectiveness of the abrasive. However, if the pressure applied to the flap discs is insufficient, the flap discs cannot be bonded to the metal, and the effective grinding effect cannot be achieved, and the grinding time is also prolonged.
3. Correct use. The flap discs need to form a certain angle with the polished object during use, generally between 5-10 degrees on a plane or level. If it is less than this angle, the vane particles will immediately make contact with the metal, causing the flap discs to wear too quickly. If the angle is greater than this, the blade cannot be fully used. As a result, some of the flap discs are excessively worn and eventually insufficiently polished.
