Description
The raw material of bearing steel grit is bearing steel. The bearing steel is a high-purity iron-carbon alloy steel. Bearing steel is used for the manufacture of ball bearings, rollers and bearing rings. Bearing steel has high and uniform hardness and wear resistance, as well as high elastic limit. It is one of the most exacting steel types in all steel production, which has strict requirements on the uniformity of chemical composition, the content and distribution of nonmetal inclusions and the distribution of carbides. So its price is naturally much higher than the price of ordinary scrap steel.
Bearing steel grit is produced by direct quenching of forged bearing steel and the crushing, the manufacturing process without melting process, so there is no casting defects, it is energy-saving, pollution-free products. In addition, bearing steel grit besides can be used as cleaning, polishing and grinding products for workpieces, also can be used as the abrasives of manufacturing abrasive tools relative to cast steel grit.
Bearing steel grit contains precious metal - chromium element, which enhances its fatigue life and wear resistance.Through the unique production process, excellent metallographic structure, full grain, uniform hardness, long fatigue life, shock resistance, high wear resistance, can effectively improve the recovery rate (the abrasives gradually shrinks during sandblasting), so as to the attrition rate of abrasives has been reduced by more than 30%.
