Glass Beads Blasting

Glass beads are a kind of blasting media which mainly used for sandblasting equipment, as well as widely used in cleaning and strengthening treatment to the metal surface. Glass beads are made from high quality broken glass by crushing and sorting. During the manufacturing process, the broken glass is fused into balls and annealed to eliminate internal stress and prevent breakage. Moreover, this product with transparent and clear spherical structure will not have particles embedded in the work piece, contaminate the work piece or cause other damage to work piece when in use. Furthermore, when different sizes of glass beads and different operating parameters are used, different glossiness will be achieved on the surface of work piece.

Because of the excellent performance of the glass beads, they are less likely to damage the surface of the work piece which has strict requirements for deviation when cleaning or removing burrs. What’s more, the inherent strength of the glass bead makes it suitable for circulating sandblasting equipment.
