Transport and storage of fiberglass disc
Fiberglass discs for resin bond grinding wheel are in B stage curing of phenolic and epoxy resin, have high requirement for temperature and humidity. Suggest to use REEF container with temperature 12°C±2°C and Relative humidity not more than 70% when shipping by sea. Storage should be in a dry and sealed room with temperature maintained at 23°C ±2°C, relative humidity remained at 50%±10%
The packages should not be stacked too high, too much pressure easily causes stickness of fiberglass discs. Avoid bumps along the way, rolling when removing the packages, the stacking should be unyawed, otherwise easily cause the fiberglass cut pieces deformed or curved OD and ID side. Wax papar and waste mesh should be uniform collected and send to qualified sanitation sector for treatment
