Metallographic Polishing Fabric

Metallographic polishing fabric series consists of multiple layers such as polishing layer, storage abrasive layer, protective layer, etc. The most important layer is the polishing fabric layer which is really used for polishing. This layer is selected from high-strength, high-quality fabrics with different pile lengths and cloth patterns suitable for metallographic polishing. Therefore, the polishing fabric has excellent polishing effect and long service life.

Fabric fibers can embed diamond fine powder or silicon carbide, aluminium oxide, and can prevent the fine powder from dissipating due to centripetal force, thereby grinding. It can store a part of the lubricant to make polishing smooth; friction between fabric fibers and the abrasive surface can make the abrasive surface more greasy and smooth.

Normally it can be placed directly on the polishing disc when it is used. Attaching the back When using, the fabric can be fixed directly on the disc. With our special polishing fabric with adhesive back, the polishing fabric will not be scratched by the sample, and the sample will never fly out of the polishing disc.
