Precautions For Using White Aluminum Oxide Grinding Wheel

Aug 01, 2025

1. Side Grinding:

Some operators, regardless of the type of grinding machine or wheel, proceed directly to side grinding. This is incorrect.
Generally, white aluminum oxide grinding wheels with a circular working surface should not be used for side grinding. This is because they have greater radial strength and less axial strength. If excessive force is applied, they can easily break, potentially causing injury to the operator.

2. Front Grinding:

Some operators prefer to operate directly facing the white aluminum oxide grinding wheel because this position saves effort and allows for greater exertion. However, if the grinding wheel breaks, most of the material will fly out from the front, which can easily injure someone. After all, even the broken pieces are quite heavy. Therefore, it is safer to operate the white aluminum oxide grinding wheel from the side.

3. Unstable force control:

New operators often lack a good understanding of white aluminum oxide grinding wheels and cannot control force. They often strive for faster grinding speeds, which can lead to excessive force.

However, they don't realize that each white aluminum oxide grinding wheel has a specific pressure range it can withstand. If this range is exceeded, it can easily break and fly out, causing injury.

In short, the use of white aluminum oxide grinding wheel is still very dangerous, so especially for the operator, you must be careful, after all, life is very precious!
