Resin bond grinding wheels are widely used in super hard abrasives because of their superior properties. Resin diamond abrasive tools can be used for semi-fine grinding or fine grinding of hard alloy, steel structure, and some non-metal materials. Due to the poor bonding between resin binder and abrasives, the grinding wheels wear fact and are not easy to maintain shape well, in addition, the binder also burns easily at high temperature. Furthermore, the corrosion resistance of resin binder is poor, the performance of it is not stable, so, the amount of alkali in the coolant must be less than 1.5% during wet grinding. Plus, an environment that is too humid will also affect the strength of resin bond grinding wheels, so please pay attention to the custody of the resin wheel. The storage time should not be too long (no more than one year generally).
