White aluminum oxide is an inorganic non-metallic material with high hardness, high melting point and high chemical stability. Its main component is aluminum oxide, with a content of more than 98%.
The hardness of white aluminum oxide is second only to diamond, with a Mohs hardness of 9.0. It is one of the commonly used high-hardness abrasives in industry. White aluminum oxide has a compact crystal structure, excellent wear resistance, compressive strength and chemical stability, and is not easily corroded by acids and alkalis.
White aluminum oxide is widely used in abrasives, refractory materials, ceramics, electronic materials and other fields due to its high hardness and wear resistance. In the electronics, optics, aerospace and other industries, white aluminum oxide is used for high-precision grinding and polishing; in the manufacture of abrasive tools, white aluminum oxide is the main raw material for making grinding wheels, sandpaper, emery cloth, grinding stones and other abrasive tools; in the plastics, rubber, paint and other industries, it is used as a reinforcing material to improve the wear resistance and temperature resistance of products. It can also be used for surface polishing and sandblasting of metals, stones, glass, ceramics and other materials, and can effectively remove the surface oxide layer, rust or old paint layer.
