Rules For The Use Of Resinoid Grinding Wheels

Apr 27, 2026

Resinoid Grinding Wheel Pre-Use Inspection Requirements

The use of resinoid grinding wheels must strictly follow operational regulations, as improper handling can directly affect grinding quality and safety. Before use, carefully inspect whether the grinding wheel has any defects, such as cracks or damage. A tapping test should be conducted to ensure the sound is clear and crisp, indicating structural integrity. In addition, always confirm that the operating speed does not exceed the specified safe working line speed marked on the grinding wheel.

Resinoid Grinding Wheel Correct Operation During Grinding

During processing, avoid applying excessive pressure to the workpiece by using tools such as levers, as this may damage the grinding wheel and compromise performance. When dressing the grinding wheel, always use dedicated dressing tools to maintain accuracy and prolong service life. Operators must wear protective goggles during operation to ensure safety.

Coolant and Dust Control

Proper use of coolant is essential during the grinding process, as it helps reduce heat and improve surface quality for each resinoid grinding wheel. If coolant cannot be used, effective dust-proof devices must be in place to minimize airborne particles and maintain a safe working environment.

Speed and Equipment Compatibility

Each resinoid grinding wheel is clearly labeled with its maximum allowable speed and linear speed. Before installation, verify that the machine's speed matches the wheel's specifications. The machine must also be equipped with appropriate safety guards. If these requirements are not met, the grinding wheel should not be used.

Installation and Fixing Standards

The flanges used to clamp the resinoid grinding wheel on both sides must be identical in shape and size. Their diameter should meet the specified requirements, and both sides should include grooves to ensure stability. During installation, apply moderate tightening force to avoid damage or slippage. After installation, run the machine idle for about one minute, and proceed only if no abnormalities are observed.

Stable and Safe Grinding Practices

Regardless of the grinding task, pressure should always be applied evenly. During adjustment and rotation, ensure that the resinoid grinding wheel does not collide with the workpiece, as this may lead to damage or unsafe conditions. Consistent and careful operation is key to achieving optimal grinding results.
