The wastes will be produced during the production and use of brown fused alumina, and sometimes the amount is quite a lot, so it is a pity to throw them away, which will cause a double waste of resources and funds. Can brown fused alumina be recycled? How to recycle? In order to solve this problem, we come up with the following solutions.
After observation, we found that there are mainly three kinds of brown fused alumina wastes, the first kind is brown fused alumina with adhesive, the second kind is the waste during processing, and the third kind is the waste after use. For the wastes of the second and third types of brown fused alumina, we only need to remove the iron by magnetic separation, and then sieve out different size of particles layer by layer. The more difficult to deal with is the first type of brown fused alumina with adhesive.
Recycling method of brown fused alumina:
Recycling – removing adhesives -- rough picking -- magnetic separation -- screening
1. Recycling: collect and recycle all wastes of brown fused alumina
2, Removing adhesives: the adhesive will be dissolved with water, and then through repeated washing to remove the adhesive.
3. Rough picking: dry the wastes and then remove the large particles through rough picking.
4, Magnetic separation: through magnetic separation to remove the iron filings and other impurities mixed when polishing.
5. Screening: brown fused alumina of different particle size can be screened out according to the particle size.
