Features of pink aluminum oxide products:
1. Low impurity elements: No other auxiliary materials are added during the production process to ensure the excellent indicators of low sodium, low potassium and low calcium of pink fused alumina; the metal impurity indicators are controlled by selecting extremely low chrome green raw materials with metal impurities. Na≤0.5%, Fe, Si, Ca, K≤0.1.
2. High bulk density: Usually the bulk density of pink aluminum oxide is about 3.5g/m3, and the bulk density of pink fused alumina produced by Minghong Hengjin can reach 3.7g/m3. The high bulk density makes the product less pores and high density, and the refractory materials produced by ordinary pink aluminum oxide have higher strength and better stability.
3. Stable quality: Because metal chromium has very high requirements for raw materials, each batch of raw materials for pink fused alumina production is repeatedly tested to ensure the stable quality of each batch of products.
Can replace traditional corundum to improve cost performance:
1. Improve the refractory performance of corundum products: Al2O3 and Cr2O3 can form a continuous solid solution without eutectic. Therefore, adding Cr2O3 to high-purity corundum materials, regardless of the amount added, can improve the refractory performance of the material. The refractoriness (>1790 ℃) and load softening temperature (>1700 ℃) of pink aluminum oxide bricks are better than those of high-purity corundum products.
2. Improve the strength of corundum products: The room temperature compressive strength of high-purity corundum bricks is generally 70 to 100MPa, and the room temperature compressive strength of high-performance pink fused alumina bricks is generally >150MPa, and its strength is significantly higher than that of corundum bricks. This is because during the sintering process, Al2O3-Cr2O3 solid solution is formed between particles, between particles and fine powder, and between fine powder and fine powder. This solid solution connects particles and fine powder together like a bridge, greatly improving the strength of the material.
3. Improve the thermal shock stability of corundum products: Add Cr2O3 to corundum. When the Cr2O3 content of pink aluminum oxide brick is between 12% and 20%, its thermal shock stability is improved compared with corundum brick; especially the AKZ type pink fused alumina brick produced by adding a small amount of phase change additives, the thermal shock stability is better.
4. Improve the slag erosion resistance of corundum products: The solubility of Cr2O3 in coal gasification slag (SiO2-CaO system) and various glass melts is much smaller than that of other oxide materials. The viscosity of the melt phase of Cr2O3 or the reaction of Cr2O3 with slag is greater than that of other low-melting materials, which prevents the slag from penetrating into the interior of the brick along the capillary pores, avoiding the formation of a metamorphic layer and causing structural peeling. Therefore, Cr2O3 or refractory materials containing Cr2O3 have good resistance to steel slag, non-ferrous smelting slag, coal gasification slag, oil gasification slag and various glass melts.
Product Uses:
Pink fused alumina can be used in non-ferrous smelting industry, petrochemical industry, glass industry, steel industry and various high-temperature kilns. It can also be used for castables, ramming materials and other amorphous refractory materials, or as raw materials for abrasive products.
