White aluminum oxide has become an indispensable material in many industrial fields due to its physical and chemical properties such as high hardness, excellent high-temperature stability, chemical inertness and good insulation.
01 Grinding and Precision Machining
1. Metal Grinding
White aluminum oxide grinding wheels, due to their high hardness and sharp micro-cutting edges, are particularly suitable for efficiently removing surface oxide and work-hardened layers from hard materials such as stainless steel, high-speed steel, and high-carbon steel.
2. Non-metallic Material Grinding
Used for fine polishing of glass, ceramics, and stone, such as the mirror finish on mobile phone back glass.
3. Abrasive Tool Manufacturing
White aluminum oxide is used as a core abrasive in the manufacture of grinding wheels, sandpaper, and cutting discs, suitable for rough grinding and fine polishing of workpieces such as automotive engine blocks and aerospace aluminum alloy components. We produce grinding wheels, sandpaper, and cutting discs suitable for rough grinding and fine polishing of automotive engine blocks and aerospace aluminum alloy components.
02 Surface Treatment Technology
1. Sandblasting
Leveraging the high hardness and uniform particle size of white aluminum oxide, it effectively removes stubborn stains and rust from metal surfaces (such as scale on cast iron parts and welds) and non-metallic surfaces, significantly improving the adhesion of subsequent coatings (such as paint and electroplating). It is widely used in automotive sheet metal repair, ship maintenance, and steel structure pretreatment.
2. Polishing and Beautification
Fine-grained white aluminum oxide is used for surface polishing of products such as jewelry, precision hardware, and medical devices, typically without the need for additional chemical cleaning.
03 Patience and Insulation Materials
1. High-Temperature Furnace Components
White aluminum oxide is used as the primary raw material in the manufacture of high-grade refractory materials such as corundum bricks and corundum castables. These materials are used in the linings of metallurgical furnaces (such as blast furnaces and ladles). They offer temperature resistance exceeding 1800°C, excellent thermal shock resistance, and can reduce heat loss by 15%-20%.
Processed into lightweight insulating bricks, they are used in thermal equipment such as glass melting furnaces, achieving significant energy savings.
2. Industrial Equipment Protection
Used as a protective layer in key areas such as cement rotary kiln linings and power plant boiler fire zones, they effectively resist corrosion from high-temperature acidic and alkaline gases, significantly extending equipment service life by 1-5 years.
04 Other High-End Applications
1. Aerospace
Used for manufacturing high-temperature, oxidation-resistant coatings for engine hot-end components (such as turbine blades), helping to improve the engine's thrust-to-weight ratio and reliability.
2. Water Jet Cutting
White aluminum oxide, added as an abrasive to a high-pressure water jet, is used to cut high-hardness metal sheets (such as titanium alloys and high-strength steel) and composite materials, achieving cutting accuracy of up to ±0.1mm. It is widely used in the machining of complex aerospace components.
3. Precision Engraving
It replaces traditional pickling processes and is used for fine etching and engraving of hard and brittle materials such as agate and jade. The process is environmentally friendly and pollution-free.
